Your time zone is the one set on your device. Time Dates reads it in your browser, for example Asia/Kolkata or Europe/London, and shows your local time, date, week number and offset from Coordinated Universal Time at the top of this page. Zone names come from the time zone database that every major operating system uses.

Open the date calculator, pick a start date and an end date, and the result shows the total days, weeks, months and working days in between. Tick "Include the end date" when the last day should count. The swap button reverses the dates, and quick picks such as the next 30 days fill them in for you.

Working days are the days from Monday to Friday that are not public holidays in your country. Time Dates finds your country from your time zone and takes out its national public holidays, so the same two dates can give a different count in India, the United Kingdom or Brazil.

The calendar shows national public holidays for 245 countries and territories from 2025 to 2028. Your country is picked automatically, each holiday is marked on its date, and View all lists every holiday in the month you are looking at.

Set a date and a time in your own city, then add any city or country in the time zone converter. Each city shows its local time, whether it is the same day, and how many hours it is ahead or behind. Daylight saving time is applied for the exact date you choose.

It depends on where you are. Most of Europe changes on the last Sundays of March and October, the United States and Canada on the second Sunday of March and the first Sunday of November, and many countries, including India, China and Japan, do not change at all. The converter shows the next clock change for every city you add.

Sunrise and sunset come from the solar position formulas behind the solar calculator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. They are worked out for the coordinates of your city and are usually within a minute. Choose Use my location for times at your exact position.

The sun and moon section shows tonight's phase, how much of the moon is lit, its age in days and the dates of the next phases. Phases are calculated with standard astronomical algorithms, so new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter times are accurate to within a few minutes.
